2026 Canadian Dental Implant Cost Comparison Report

Canada vs Turkey vs Mexico vs Hungary
Published by Get Implant Quotes
Research updated September 18, 2026

Dental implant prices can be difficult to compare because clinics may use the same treatment label for very different scopes of care. One advertised All-on-4 price may include implant placement, temporary teeth and a definitive bridge, while another may cover only the surgical stage or one arch.

This report compares publicly advertised 2026 price ranges for common dental implant treatments in Canada, Turkey, Mexico and Hungary. All amounts are shown in Canadian dollars. Foreign-currency figures were converted using the Bank of Canada daily rates for September 17, 2026: €1 = CA$1.6060 and US$1 = CA$1.3988.

These are synthesized advertised market ranges—not national averages, fee guides or guaranteed quotations. They do not indicate clinical quality, suitability or likely treatment outcomes.

Key Findings

  • Turkey showed the lowest advertised full-arch and full-mouth price ranges in the reviewed sample.
  • Mexico generally cost more than Turkey but may involve shorter and less expensive travel for many Canadians.
  • Hungary generally fell between Turkey and Mexico for full-arch treatment and remains an established European dental-tourism destination.
  • Canadian single-tooth implant prices were commonly advertised between CA$3,000 and CA$6,000 when the implant, abutment and crown were included.
  • The largest apparent price gaps occurred with treatment involving both arches, but these comparisons are the most vulnerable to differences in materials, temporary restorations and package inclusions.
  • A lower advertised price does not establish that two treatment plans are clinically equivalent.

Important: “Single implant” sometimes refers only to the implant fixture. The first row represents a completed single-tooth restoration consisting of the implant, abutment and crown. Bone grafting, extraction, sedation and other procedures may be additional.

The full-arch rows are broad planning ranges synthesized from the cited advertisements. Some lower-end figures include the implant and temporary-prosthesis stage but not the definitive bridge. Some higher-end packages include the final restoration, premium implant systems or additional services. Compare the written inclusions—not the treatment label alone.

What the Numbers Suggest

Using the midpoint of each advertised range only as an illustration, an All-on-4 treatment for one arch was approximately:

  • 75% lower in Turkey than the Canadian midpoint;
  • 44% lower in Mexico than the Canadian midpoint; and
  • 55% lower in Hungary than the Canadian midpoint.

For an All-on-4 restoration involving both arches, the midpoint difference was approximately 76% for Turkey, 49% for Mexico and 55% for Hungary compared with Canada. These percentages should not be interpreted as expected savings for an individual patient.

Canada

Canadian clinic publications reviewed for this report commonly placed a completed single-tooth implant between CA$3,000 and CA$6,000. A British Columbia fee-guide illustration showed how the combined surgical and restorative components can exceed CA$5,000, while current Ontario advertising placed complete All-on-4 packages at approximately CA$25,000 to CA$35,000 per arch. Zirconia restorations, grafting, sedation and complex treatment can increase the total.

Canadian treatment has an important practical advantage: consultation, treatment and long-term maintenance can often be coordinated locally. However, implant treatment is not consistently covered by dental insurance.

Turkey

Turkey produced the lowest advertised prices in the reviewed sample. Public 2026 pages showed substantial variation, from an implant-stage All-on-4 starting price of €2,400 per jaw to fuller packages advertised at approximately €3,600–€7,500 per jaw. Differences were associated with implant brand, bridge material, whether the final restoration was included and whether the figure was a promotional starting price.

Some Turkish clinics publish packages including accommodation, transfers and international-patient coordination. These services do not demonstrate that every necessary clinical procedure is included.

The Government of Canada advises medical travellers to verify that providers in Türkiye are authorized by Turkish health authorities and to obtain a written agreement describing the proposed care.

Mexico

Mexico generally showed higher advertised All-on-4 prices than Turkey but lower prices than Canada. Current public pricing commonly fell around US$8,000 to US$13,000 per arch. One Los Algodones clinic published US$9,000 per arch for a Hiossen-based plan and US$11,500 for Straumann or Nobel Biocare, illustrating how implant brand and bridge material can change a quotation.

Mexico may offer shorter flights and North American time zones for Canadians. Patients should still budget for repeat visits, accommodation and local transportation and confirm whether the final definitive bridge is included.

Hungary

Budapest remains an established dental-tourism market. Public listings reviewed for this report ranged from roughly €3,774–€4,171 for advertised All-on-4 denture configurations to €6,200 and above for All-on-6 treatment per jaw. More extensive treatment, premium implant systems and both-arch zirconia restorations can cost considerably more.

Patients should verify the treating dentist’s current professional registration and obtain an itemized plan showing both the surgical and restorative stages.

Costs That Advertised Tables Often Exclude

  • round-trip flights for two or more visits;
  • extra hotel nights and meals;
  • travel insurance and exclusions for planned treatment;
  • local transportation or interpreter costs;
  • CBCT imaging or additional diagnostic work;
  • extractions, bone grafting or sinus augmentation;
  • sedation and medication;
  • temporary restoration repairs;
  • missed work and an extended stay;
  • Canadian follow-up, hygiene and maintenance; and
  • a return trip if an adjustment or warranty claim cannot be handled locally.

Why Two All-on-4 Quotes May Not Be Comparable

  1. Treated area: upper arch, lower arch or both.
  2. Implant count: four, six or another number in each arch.
  3. Implant system: manufacturer, model and component availability in Canada.
  4. Temporary restoration: removable or fixed, material and expected duration.
  5. Definitive restoration: acrylic, composite, metal-acrylic, zirconia or another design.
  6. Additional procedures: extractions, grafting, sinus treatment or bone reduction.
  7. Treatment stages: number of visits, healing period and final-restoration schedule.
  8. Records: imaging, implant passport, operative notes and component information.
  9. Aftercare: local reviews, emergency contact and Canadian follow-up plan.
  10. Warranty: covered components, exclusions and whether return travel is required.

Research Methodology

Get Implant Quotes reviewed publicly available price pages and price lists from dental clinics, treatment providers and dental marketplaces serving patients in Canada, Turkey, Mexico and Hungary. The principal source snapshot was taken September 17–18, 2026.

Prices were converted into rounded Canadian-dollar planning ranges using the Bank of Canada’s September 17, 2026 rates. Per-arch and both-arch prices were separated; implant-only figures were not treated as completed restorations; promotional starting prices were not presented as national averages; and no conclusions about clinical quality were inferred from price.

The sample is not a census of clinics and was not statistically weighted by region, clinic size or treatment volume. Published prices may change without notice.
