UK FULL-MOUTH COST GUIDE
Full-Mouth Dental Implant Costs for UK Patients
Full-mouth implant treatment is a major clinical and financial decision. This guide compares UK, Turkey and Hungary price ranges in pounds sterling using a consistent specification: established mid-tier or better implants, fixed PMMA provisional bridges and final fixed zirconia restorations.
Full-mouth All-on-4 and All-on-6 costs in GBP
| Treatment | United Kingdom | Turkey | Hungary |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-on-4, upper and lower arches | £28,000–£44,000 | £7,500–£15,000 | £11,000–£17,000 |
| All-on-6, upper and lower arches | £32,000–£50,000 | £9,000–£18,000 | £13,000–£20,000 |
UK-market planning ranges in pounds sterling, not guaranteed quotations. Full-arch comparisons assume established implant systems, a fixed PMMA provisional bridge and a definitive fixed zirconia bridge. Treatment scope, additional procedures and travel can change the final total. Last reviewed October 2026.
These are broad planning ranges, not guaranteed quotes. Complex extractions, bone grafting, sedation, upgraded implant systems and bespoke prosthetic designs can change the total.
What does “full-mouth” mean?
On this page, full-mouth treatment means restoring both the upper and lower arches. It does not mean a single arch. A full-mouth All-on-4 plan generally uses four implants per arch, while All-on-6 generally uses six per arch when anatomy and clinical judgement support that approach.
The specification used for this comparison
- An established mid-tier or better implant system with traceable components
- A fixed PMMA provisional bridge during healing when clinically appropriate—not a removable temporary denture
- A final fixed zirconia restoration for each treated arch
- Implant placement, standard abutments and routine prosthetic appointments
Not every advertised package uses this specification. A lower-cost offer may use acrylic final teeth, omit provisional fixed teeth or quote only the surgical phase. Always obtain a written, itemised treatment plan.
All-on-4 versus All-on-6
| Consideration | All-on-4 | All-on-6 |
|---|---|---|
| Implants | Four implants per treated arch | Six implants per treated arch |
| Potential advantage | May reduce surgery and cost in suitable cases | May provide additional support and load distribution in suitable anatomy |
| Clinical limits | The choice depends on bone volume, bite forces, anatomy, medical history and the restorative design—not patient preference alone | |
| Final restoration | This comparison assumes a fixed zirconia final bridge | |
What a complete quote should include
| Included or identified | Details to request |
|---|---|
| Diagnostics | Consultation, CBCT scan, photographs, digital impressions and written diagnosis |
| Surgery | Number and brand of implants, extractions, anaesthesia or sedation, grafting and medication |
| Provisional teeth | Whether fixed PMMA bridges are included and how quickly they are fitted |
| Final teeth | Zirconia system, number of teeth, framework, laboratory work and adjustments |
| Visits | Number of trips, minimum stay, appointment schedule and healing interval |
| Aftercare | Reviews, maintenance, emergency contact, warranty terms and responsibility for remedial work |
Common exclusions and hidden costs
Flights, meals, travel insurance and time away from work are usually separate. Some packages include hotel nights and airport transfers but limit dates or room type. Clinically, the price can rise because of complex extractions, bone grafting, sinus procedures, treatment for infection, sedation, additional implants or a change in the final prosthetic design.
Ask the clinic to distinguish confirmed charges from allowances and to state who authorises changes after the in-person examination.
Treatment stages and payment timing
Full-arch implant treatment is often staged. The first visit may include assessment, extractions, implant placement and fixed provisional teeth. After a healing period, a second visit may include verification records, try-ins and delivery of the final zirconia bridges. Some cases require additional appointments or a third trip.
Request a payment schedule tied to clearly defined stages. Avoid paying the entire treatment cost before the clinic has completed its in-person examination and confirmed the plan.
Is treatment abroad worth the saving?
Overseas treatment can produce a substantial financial difference for appropriate patients, particularly for two full arches. The saving should be weighed against travel, time, the possibility of extra visits and the difficulty of obtaining local remedial care. A reputable clinic should discuss limitations and risks as clearly as benefits.
How to avoid misleading comparisons
- Compare both arches with both arches—not a one-arch headline price with a full-mouth UK plan.
- Compare fixed PMMA provisionals with fixed PMMA provisionals.
- Compare final zirconia bridges with final zirconia bridges, including any titanium framework.
- Check the implant brand and product line, not merely the word “premium.”
- Include both trips, accommodation and realistic contingency costs.
- Read the warranty exclusions and aftercare obligations.
Records to bring back to the UK
Ask for your pre- and post-treatment scans, implant passport, implant positions and sizes, component references, laboratory records, final photographs, occlusion notes, medication record and written maintenance instructions. These records may help a UK dentist understand what was placed, although no dentist is obliged to take over another provider’s work.

Frequently asked questions
Does full-mouth All-on-4 mean four implants in total?
No. In a two-arch full-mouth plan it generally means four implants in the upper arch and four in the lower arch, subject to the clinician’s plan.
Are temporary dentures included in these ranges?
The comparison assumes fixed PMMA provisional bridges when clinically appropriate, not removable temporary dentures. Confirm this explicitly in every quote.
Is zirconia always the best final material?
Zirconia has important strength and aesthetic advantages, but the appropriate design depends on space, bite, implant positions and clinical judgement. Ask the restorative dentist to explain the recommended construction.
Why can the final price differ from the preliminary quote?
A remote quote may be revised after CBCT review and in-person examination reveal bone loss, infection, grafting needs or a different restorative requirement. The clinic should explain this possibility before travel.
